Photon’s curricula are comprehensive, and because the student is tested upon completing each milestone of the program, it is expected that each and every student will have the ability to pass certification testing.

Two core programs are offered - Structural Plate Welding and High Pressure Welding. These core programs incorporate foundation skills courses that each require 30 to 90 class contact hours of instruction and testing. Structural Steel requires 330 hours of work and High Pressure requires 360 hours.

Photon also offers training in any of the foundation skills courses that are the milestones of the two core programs, and other specialty skills courses as well. These foundation and advanced courses require from 30 to 90 class contact and testing hours.

At Photon School of Welding, we’re happy to customize training as well. We’ll work with students who need specialized development or scheduling. We’ll work in partnership with employers to develop the training programs that enable them to gain competitive advantage in their markets, and foster better retention through effective recognition and career-pathing.
